Keeping it real since 1983

Strolling on 4th

I’d really start to keep up with my blogging more. I can’t decide which blogging community I like better. I still have to figure that one out. I’d like to customize it, maybe learn a little html, put up my own logo, give it a little bit of an art journal feel to it. In the mean time I’ll just stick with what I got.

Emory and I took a little stroll on 4th today. Sometimes when he gets whiny and cranky, it’s just his way of telling me he’s bored and wants to get out and do something. We stopped at the Chocolate Iguana. I sipped on ice tea, while he enjoyed some rasberry sorbet. I think he felt pretty bleh about the sorbet not the usual excited face he makes when eating applesauce.

I peeped my head into the thrift store, the name has escaped me at the moment, but I’ll talk about it another day I’m sure. Emz fell asleep so I was able to mosey around for a bit. I found these awesome 1960’s waist high pants. I’m not sure if I will ever wear them, I’m not exactly sure what to where them with, but I had to buy them. Its funny, the more art I’ve been producing, the more boldy and gutsy I’ve been with my apparal. I guess I’ll have to do some research and find out how I can wear them. Also, I need to research eye makeup and do some sketches in my art book. Toodles.

It’s a mystery

the mazes, the switches, the laser lights;

rounding out edges and capturing great heights.

Failing to fall into grace;

it seems as though its not your place.

Tripping and slipping, missing the pieces;

time is the theif, if we could only freeze it.

Can we keep the air chilled, it’s the only way to feel

is that asking too much is that being unreal?

A red squirrel seems confused and fascinated by a statue of a dog. The picture was captured by a photographer in his garden on the outskirts of Moscow. He said: “The squirrel became fascinated by the dog; it was climbing all over the statue and seemed to be trying to work out what it was. At one point the squirrel looked directly into the statue’s face as if it was expecting a reaction.”
